A Mountain Retreat

That makes it sound as if I have been hiding away communing with monks or something doesn't it, which is not what I have been doing.

(Not that there is anything wrong with that if it is something you like to do. )

But on my annual holiday (some of you may have noticed that I am often away during September) I did have an extended trip to places where there was no phone signal and sometimes no internet, and as I had decided to keep well away from any contact with work or my other usual distractions I have not been "on line" as it used to be called, for nearly a month.

Now I am back I have a few things I might blog about, I may even include the dream I had about the waitress in the local restaurant, who was extremely sexy, but for now I must just say Hi and then dash, as for some reason work seems to have been piling up while I was away.

Where I was on holiday there were some lovely fall colours starting to show, but here in the south of England the trees are mostly still green, and although it is raining today, the first week since I got back has been sunny and warm, almost like summer. I am having a happy October so far, and I expect I will get to the dreams in due course!

 Working, mostly. My first nine to five in about seven years. Taking care of the house and mother. Spending far too much time drinking Guinness with my boss. Finding a few minutes here and there to read posts and reply to messages (mostly while in the bath, it's the only free time I have). I did take the time to camp out and watch the eclipse, which was nice.

It's good to see you again, dear Dreamer. Whereabouts did you take your holiday, and would you recommend it? It is definitely time for another break for me.
