My new one For those who might care, I got my new half leg last friday. now I have to re-learn to walk. But I am excited. It's one more goal closer, to what, I'm not sure. Hey people, I need your opinions. Should I update my profile, or just make sure I explain things as time goes on? I'm not sure. I won't hide my leg injury until the meet, I plan on being honest. Just not sure it's wise to tell ahead of time. Any input, please.I'm asking, because I respect your opinions. Hey Serina, I just wanted to say congrats on getting the prosthetic leg! And I'm glad you re-learning how to walk that's good. I would honestly be upfront with it; put it in your profile. If the person is willing to me you, then they're going to me all of you. It's nothing to be ashamed or embarrassed of. Enjoy being you, and let the others who can't accept it continue their ignorance. Hope it was helpful!  Ttys!

I wish I could read your profile, as I don't know what it says at the moment. But I would think it would not be necessary to change your profile, at least to any great degree. It is always best to let people know up front what they may be in for, or what you're all about. However you feel best to do that really is up to you. But honesty up front is always the way to go.

We must agree with istheremore4. It doesn't matter what your ailments are it is who you are that matters most and how you feel about yourself. Based on what we have read here, you are very comfortable with yourself, know who you are and know exactly what you want out of life. There is nothing that you can not do now or in the future that will hold you back. Besides, if someone can not handle the truth about you then they are not right and it is best that you move on and find someone that can accept everything about you. Just continue to be you and everything will fall into place. If my boobs were bigger I'd be a BBW!

It does'nt matter about you're leg it's what's in you're heart and soul . Just be Serina and you will be fine . If you feel the need to explain then it can be done at a later time. Good Luck, Dear 1.
