I dont know why people have to be so disrespectful by voting in this blog. It is so rude. Steve

Perhaps create a "blogging only" profile, so that the profile can remain open but you can receive emails only from people that have an active profile, plus any other handles of your own choosing? In other words, you allow people to contact you by inclusion rather than exclusion? I know that practically this may be impossible to programme, but just a thought... Sorry, this is irrelvant, but just two basic upgrade suggestions to the instant messaging system that might improve it and save some time as well... 1) The "autoreply" message is only used where there has been no previous message from the sender..it is awkward when you occasionally send a new email from someone you have had previous messaging with and they get the dreaded "autoreply" message, which as far as I can tell, is really only meant to buy time for members sending you their first message/initial contact. Can this be easily programmed in? 2) Leave some blank free form text so that you can create a couple of your own "Standard Replies" when the ones given are not relevant...Sometimes that means that you have to waste time sending a personal reply and you want the efficiency of sending an autoreply but you can't, because the auto-reply is not relevant or not quite what you want to say you don't like the "tone" of the standard replies..

I like the feature of being able to approve or deny commentators' posts in one's blog, and being able to automatically allow friends' posts. Guess I have to update my network...

It exists, not my choice but I do think we need more to choose from to express ourselves - I had someone ask me what XD was (I have the image but it's not loading in my group posting). There are hundreds of them out there, some good & some bad. Just a nice feature to have, especially they are small enough it wouldn't tap into system resources that much. They are a great feature in postings (blogs, groups, etc.)!

I've noticed that the voting on profile photos thing doesnt work for me, though...it says the voting is off, so when I click on any of the photos to turn it on it says 'turn off voting on all photos', but it is already off. funny thing is...when you click on my profile you can see the votes...but I cant see them... Thanks for the addition to the groups, so far...

actually, he was talking about the groups when there was no capability, someone was going through 'certain' group threads and disagreeing with every single post, when no one in the group had voted before, so they thought it was someone just being smart.

Isn't there some way you could stop people from outside the site from viewing us? I am aware that if you google search a word, any word that is on a blog title you can see it accidently from outside, you also see the members pic. This leaves us open to people who aren't even signed up to the site to be able to view our blogs. Also I know they can view part profiles and group main pages, complete with members pics, they can read the bulleting board too. Isn't there anything that can be done to keep all our activities just on the site? Most people on this site are looking for discretion but it isn't very discreet when the whole of the world wide web can access anything on the site. Bye everyone, it was a blast

Have y'all considered allowing for any pics to be used in the body of blog posts? Not just the ones in a members profile, but whatever we have to upload? Also it would be way cool if each blogger had a way to easily have access to the entirety of their own chronological comment history. The current utility which allows you to see and access the last hundred of anyones comments is cool and useful but if you have been blogging awhile and you wish to locate some of your older comments it can be a daunting task to exactly find them. It at least seems that expanding this capacity to track ones own full range of existing comments should not be that difficult as the basic foundation for it already exists in the current system. Anyways I would certainly appreciate and frequently use something like that. And thanks so much for the new array of added features. I'm looking forward to when they are all in place and operating bug free. PS. The one bug I keep running into right now is that my own old deleted replys to my own blog comments which had typos in them have now reappeared sandwiched in with the new corrected ones. If I try deleting them again they are still there after the deletion attempt as if they are permanent.

Sorry to bring my glitch here, but I've written CS three times, with no reply. I haven't been able to access my own profile for about a month now. The program asks me to re-enter my password, then boots me off the site. I'd like to revise my profile and view the results. Can you help with this? Thanks! As far as the upgrades...can't see that any of them would improve my blogging experience. I'd rather see a faster server, and I agree with Miss Ann regarding the creation of a blogger's chat room. I'm sure the upgrades wil improve the users' experiences on other parts of the site

I left a first comment. In the process of posting it, it disappeared. Now my blog is gone. Consider me and my silver membership gone. I realize you don't care Andrew as you have many more. That's the biggest disservice of all.

All I can say is this. Would you please fix the blog from disappearing so much. It happens to me almost every morning now. Carpe Diem

Blah, blah, blah...more empty, silly promises. I don't know who's in charge of marketing and strategy here, but they obviously aren't up to the job. This site, while still the most popular, has too many un-fixed glitches. Instead of "promising us the moon" or offering silly "bling contests" (...bling? What, are we gangsta rapper thugs?!) or that ill-advised "Reputation" rubbish, how about streamlining the site and updating the slow-speed and fixing "gremlins" constantly plauging Find a Cougar? We don't necessarily want more frilly distractions, just a faster, more efficient site, responsive to our needs, not yours. The Romans foud out that "Bread and Circuses" didn't work, too.
