Why do people send emails saying thanks for looking at my profile when they know damn well that I haven't. Do they think I'm stupid enough to fall for that dumb ass approach? I hate liars and if you cant be honest with me in your very first email then there is zero chance that I am going to respond.

An honest straight forward (not crude) email stands a far better chance of attracting my attention. It just shows how lazy and dumb men can be sometimes. So send me a nice email with a bit of thought in it and not just a one liner "wanna meet and fuck" and who knows. Please also don't use text speak and bad grammar either it doesn't give the impression your going to be an intelligent and interesting person to speak with as well.

Rhand007 is right. There are servers on this place, that when they feel like it, run wild. They generate profiles, notices that someone has messaged you, and how you can join up to read the non existing mail, views, flirts, hotlists, and everything else you can think of. Some times, ( more than some ) they can even impersonate a real person from customer services ! I suppose they have to try and make their wages somehow.
But then again, everything is possible in here. Even real humans, impersonating the servers !

 Sometimes profile views are generated purely by seeing someone on your homepage or on a list somewhere, like the list of those that have viewed your profile. The only way to avoid any confusion is to go to your accounts page, click on "privacy preferences" then scroll down and under 'Viewing Activity Visibility' check the circle next to........ 'I would like to become 'invisible' and view profiles discreetly. ' then save changes at the bottom of the page, that way you won't appear as viewing anyone's profile!
