BIN LADIN DEAD!!!!!!!! GLORY IN JUSTICE!!!!!!!!!

It's been a week. They already did the DNA comparison to his family.

And it wasn't all of a sudden by any means. It's been almost ten years and thousands of deaths. Longer if you count back to 96
when Clinton missed his chance at him.

Of course the conspiracy crowd will go ballistic and viral, with books and movies to come.

The war on terror is far from over!!!

Don't give ANY politicians ANY credit on this one. I never saw a single member of our goverment go into the line of fire!!! Give it to the BRAVE soldiers that took care of the deed! Thank you to all of the men and women in uniform and their families. They're the ones who have been fighting for this, not our Presidents, Senators or Representatives.

*****************

It seems, US intelligence and Special Ops teams knew of his whereabouts for months and kept quiet about it while casing the joint so they could plan to every detail just how they were going to accomplish the mission. I gotta give it to Pres. Obama, at least he didn't shoot himself in the foot, running into the compound like a horny teenage boy running into the girls' locker room. It turned to to boost Obama's popularity rating at a very convenient time also. Just saying.

Thank goodness for all of these items the democrats previously abhorred, but now use to claim 'their' victory in the war on terror:

** Gitmo (Obama promised it would be closed within his first year)

** Bush/Cheney 'death squads' (aka... Navy SEALS)

** 'Illegal' wiretapping. (infringes on peoples' rights they said)

** 'Torture' interrogation methods (water boarding)

At one point Obama and Eric Holder (attorney general) even suggested leveling charges against CIA employees and prosecuting them for doing their jobs.

I congratulate Obama on doing the right thing, even though he previously opposed it.

Welcome to the world of reality!!!

(I suspect the hesitation about showing photos of the body stems from how victims of combat aren't supposed to be shown in various states of dismemberment. Some Middle Eastern countries have graphically displayed the remains of dead foreign soldiers as
'trophies'. Although photos of Bin Laden's dead body may be
'proof' to some of his demise, it isn't really proof, some will always decline to believe, and - it isn't in good taste to display
these remains. Just my opinion.)

other thoughts - remember that guy who masterminded the Lockerbie Scotland airline bombing? The guy who was recently released back to Libya because he supposedly had cancer? The guy who was welcomed to cheering & applause when he arrived back in Libya?

Well, during this whole Libyan conflict gig I think a few missiles
need to be lobbed his way.

Get as many of these scumbags out of the way as possible while we're over there.

And I think Pakistan knew Bin Laden was in their country.

There were so many "I"s in his delivery of the news of Bin Laden, you would have thought he pulled the trigger himself. But,politics
aside, while it does not really give closure to the families that lost loved ones on 9/11, it is the end of an era and a US promise fulfilled. It brought the nation together for at least a moment and hopefully re-established some lost credibility and respect in the way other countries view us.

Kudos to the prez!!!! (take note, this is probably the only pat on the back I will ever give you)

"This is good news for the other guys on the top 10 wanted list - finally they get to move up in the rankings."

"ISLAMABAD (AP) - Pakistan warned America Thursday of "disastrous consequences" if it carries out any more unauthorized raids against suspected terrorists like the one that killed Osama bin Laden."

It is about time the USA ceased all aid to/for Pakistan!!!

There does seem to be one small error in the info given by the whitehouse. That is that a DNA test was done within hours of his death. Of the 4 type of DNA that can be tested it takes a minimum of 2 days to grow the cultures to replicate the DNA strands so how did they do it or has the US gov got some UBER test that the Microbiologists dont know about????

There is need to exercise extra caution with regard to the issue of terrorism...

Osama kill proves Pakistan is core of world's terrorism

Analysts: Bin Laden death reason for countries to heighten defenses

The U.S. assassination of Osama bin Laden in the middle of Pakistan has shown the world that Pakistan remains the heart of serious terrorist groups, according to a report from JosephFarah's
G2 Bulletin.

Analysts differ on this question, but one thing is clear: The Pakistani government-backed proxy terrorist groups have become more institutionalized and have developed beyond a local entity and now have more of an international capability.

In addition, they represent a new crop of militants that are more violent and less conducive to political solutions than their predecessors, analysts say.

As a consequence, the U.S. needs to determine whether Pakistan will cooperate in eliminating these terrorist threats within their own borders or decide to ignore the Pakistani declaration that such operations as killing bin Laden will not be tolerated again and go after the leadership of these other organizations.

There's one nation that will feel the threat imminently.

For India, the terrorists who for decades have acted as proxies of the Pakistani government are increasing their level of threat.

And as the U.S. begins its troop withdrawals from Afghanistan, India soon is going to find itself again facing the original conflict that destabilizies the South Asia region between India and Pakistan.

The terrorist groups that continue to vex India and certainly pose a continued threat to U.S. security include the Haqqani group; Afghan Taliban; Hafiz Gul Bahadur and Maulvi Nazir factions
of the Pakistani; the Mehsud faction of the Pakistani Taliban, or TalibanTehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan or TTP; al-Qaida; Lashkar al-Zil; Lashkar-e-Taiba, or LeT; the Jaish-e-Muhammad, or JeM; and the Harakat-ul-Mujahadin, or HuM.

The Haqqani group, for example, is one of the worst in so far as killing U.S. troops in Afghanistan.

****************

The whole thing is a sick twisted mess.

I can't believe the U.S. $$ that we sent to that shithole country Pakistan.

We need to cut them off.

"LONDON (Reuters) A statement purporting to come from a of Osama bin Laden denounced the al Qaeda leader's killing as
"criminal" and said his burial at sea had humiliated the family, an online monitoring service said."

???

As if what Bin Laden did wasn't "demeaning" enough to the family?

The Bin Laden name will always be associated with shit.
