Let Her Eat Cake Warning: Drunken rant to follow and it ain't gonna be pretty. To the Bitter Witch who Called me 'Pretentious': I just finished hosting dinner for eight people. Smoked pheasant and bruschetta for appetizers. Prime rib, black truffle mashed potatoes, green beans and mushrooms sauteed in jus and olive oil and REAL Yorkshire pudding for dinner. Triple fucking chocolate mousse cake for dessert. Two bottles of Nicholas Feuillate Blanc di Blanc champagne and 3 bottles of various wines as accompaniment with a 25 year old Tawny Port to finish the evening. Am I pretentious? Goddamn right, I am. I've had orgasms that lasted longer than your 15 minutes of fame. Fuck you and the Yugo you drove up in. That is all. Happy Fucking New Year. When it comes to sex, I need a STRONG connection. Otherwise, the page just keeps buffering and takes FOREVER to load... |

lol I had a good laugh when I read this. Great menu, but far from pretentious. I could whip that up for 40 person without a sweat, the way any good cook can, I used "soufflequeen" in an expat site and someone said it's the easiest thing to make. Yeah, right. Tell that to someone who makes goat cheese souffle' for first course, crab souffle for the main and hot lemon souffle for pudding. For 26 person, all by herself. You know your food, you know your wine. End of the story.

Best way to get something off your chest is to let it out and you did a good job of that! Why hold it in, why dwell on it? It's your blog and you can damn well post whatever you want and if someone doesn't like it they don't have to go to your blog. Enjoy the fact that you are who you are. HNY!

Yes, problems with food again.  Maybe you wouldn't be so bitter, pretentious, narcissistic, and alcohol dependent if you weren't so overweight. I can understand you waking up in the morning, looking in the mirror, and being bitter. Pretentiousness results from being insecure with one's self and esteem, and using material goods to try to enhance one's self image. Only a narcissist would post photos of themselves and then ask, "How do I look." Alcohol will drown your sorrows temporarily, but then you sober up and have to face reality again. I'm surprised you're not admitting your alcoholism by now. Why don't you start the New Year off right. Call 1 800 Jenny and get your diet in check. Then stop exercising your fingers and mouth, and give the gym a try. The exercise will release endorphins and you will start to feel better about yourself. Try giving to others for a change, as opposed to consuming. You will find you feel better about yourself not because you are consuming the worlds resources, but rather because you are helping people in need. You should also try meditation and to enhance your spirituality. This should help you relax a little and become more enlightened. Maybe you'll find the real you and you can stop feeling the need to be glutenous, self-serving, pretentious, narcissistic, and alcohol dependent. The sooner you realize self improvement starts with YOU as opposed to bashing others to make yourself feel better, the sooner you will began to lead a fulfilling life. Best of luck to you.

'Gush', be pretentious all you want, you have nothing to hide or be ashamed for, its earned and well deserved! Many many years ago a girlfriend and I would go out once a month to the finest dining establishments in my fair city to try new foods, wine, liquor, we had the best times! And back then spending $200.00 on the meal and such was expensive...my mother thought we were crazy but it was fabulous! Miss those...
