Hatteras Island NC
For the past month I've been online a few nights a week. Looking at properties to buy in the Outer Banks area of NC.

At the time I live right off the ocean at the jersey Shore. I'm just so tired of the cold winters here in Jersey.

Thinking I may have found what I'm looking for. Planning a trip in April to check out a few homes at Hatteras Island.

Over the years I've been to this area a few times. It's between the Atlantic Ocean and Pamlico Sound.

They still have the change of seasons. But the winters aren't as harsh.

If you live in the Outer Banks area. I sure wouldn't mind chatting with you...

 that area catches hell during hurricane season..always has..i can recommend myrtle beach as a place to live..was there 5 years and loved it..only went thru a force 1 hurricane..lots of live music..tourists flow in new every week..the only downside is the locals are kinda backward..

Yeah, I do know about Hurricane season off the coast of the Outer Banks area. Trust me. It does scare me and I do think about it...

I used to stay in Southern Shores. The northern part of the OBX.
Just going to check out the area. and seeing what's there.

with your love of music the house of blues in mb would be a treasure..plus lots of bars there have live local killer bands playing..and in 5 yrs i only saw snow on the roads once..

 Hurricanes, even worse and more often Nor easters. I lived in kitty Hawk for awhile. I think you can find a better area for your money. There is a lot of beautiful coastline between here and Jersey.

 Good luck in your search.
I'm sure you will do your due diligence and talk with locals about all the pluses and minuses of the region.
