Gold is easier, but not perfect I was granted 2 weeks of free gold status. That has now ended and the comparison is very easy. IM is just as sketchy as a gold. Although you are not limited to 3 conversations a day. Best communication is with Camming, you don't even need to be seen on cam and can have a private conversation. You can not see profiles, it was nice to be able to have some info and even a pic of who you chatting with. Guess I'll add another pic and another blog to see if I can achieve that free status. Enjoy each other. |

yes im is not ideal as either a gold or standard member because of the internet explorer giving members the use of the im at low cost to the site ..people bitch and moan about the site being all but fair ..lol message center works really well for me and its slow of course but it works great I love chatting on there for two reasons..one : I type a message and send it go do some stuff around the house and back there is the reply...no one getting all crazy about the instant and why I was not right there to answer hence pissed off people who don't message back ...two I can post an auto message stating what I want or don't..it gets the point across real quick..works for me! good luck

There is nothing perfect on this site.  But then again, sorta like life. I could be standard and just blog. Since I've been back, i've been impressed with the regulars on the blogs. Seems like a good bunch of peeps. That said, I like gold. It lets me view profiles when I want. If you actually read them, some are quite interesting. I get to laugh at the comments on the ladies picture posts. Some true gems there. I send and receive messages at will. Finally, I tend to be a "all in" kind of guy. I'm either not going to bother with it, or I'm going to immerse. Life, fun, relationships, this site. All the same mindset. Good luck with your endeavors. If you are here to actually meet people, being able to read profiles is important. Very many members, especially women, write about themselves and what type of person they are...and are not looking for. Even if you just want to hook up, it is better to read if someone wants the same thing, instead of sending a “wanna fuck” type email or IM to someone looking for more and you end up as being rude and disrespectful.

I am in the middle of 6 months free gold, this is my second in 2 years, just cant beat it, yes IM and Chat on CAM is not the best and messages are so slow, but for the cost, can't beat it..make the best of what you have , good entertainment, lot of good people here.. Something to be aware of, for those that don't understand.. Being a gold member alone does not give you the ability to contact a standard member via the website email system. Your email to the standard member will be blurred out when they try to read it. In a way, your email will be held ransom, to try to encourage the standard member to become a gold member. So if as a gold member, you wish to be able to send email messages to standard members, you have to add the standard member contacts option to your gold membership...

Some men here, or males as the case may be - may have over a dozen active profiles on here. And he may be different in many of these profiles he has. Married in some, single, divorced, or separated in others. He may be straight in some, bi-sexual or gay in others. Different ages in some of the profiles.. The list could go on-an-on.. And there are some on here, that will target you. But if you openly list in your profile your preferences and dislikes about the kind of person you seek or not - you are in essence telling this kind of fake/scammer/game player just exactly what to say to you. And for some of this type, this may not be a good thing to do at all. I have been thinking of doing a post in my blog with tips on how to uncover these kinds of fakes, scammers, and game players. Because I haven't seen this subject talked about openly.
