So I have now discovered one of getting issues. Gout. I have heard of it before, never thought much about it, until I got it. And I really got it. So my left ankle has been swelling up and getting very painful walk on for the last few days. I thought I had pulled something, so the more I iced it the worst it got. Seen my Foot and ankle Dr today and he informs me its Gout. Oh and by the way, putting ice on it made it worst because the uric acid present got to crystalize with the cold.
There are days its just not fun getting old.....
8 August, thanks all for giving some ideas. I am trying the cherry juice. Also looks like I need to cut out complex sugars from the diet.  good bye my 7up. Its a start and I guess its another journey I need to take.

So I guess I am feeling more festive than past years. November I came down with covid. I live by myself which means I did not pass it someone I live with. However the baad thing is living alone so I had no one cook or help . I lost about 20 lbs from the illness. I did not require a trip the Hospital.
This year I guess I am happy have survived this. I am working, have food the table and a roof over my head. More than many right now. give back this year I am collecting food for my Alma mater students food pantry. There are many students living very little money. Many could not find jobs this year due covid. Or in some cases found jobs but did not get many hours of work time. So I have been getting rice, fruit, meat and other things for them.
So Merry Christmas . I hope you stay healthy and safe.

So we have talked of some changes but here are more.
We will see more people work from home. A more flex time approach to work will result. Work from home, but also be there for your that are doing on line classes. This will result in one of two things, some will abuse this system and nannyware will be installed by companies. the other extreme will be the people that just will not stop working. There will be more burn out and less time off.
On line degrees will increase. This will not mean that the people will be prepared to enter the work force. It is not possible to do labs at home. How do you do chemistry, or biology from a home lab??
Homes will undergo a design change. There will be a shower and laundry at the back door of the House. This will allow you to shower and wash clothes before entering your main portion of your home.

How covid is gonna change everything, Part one

As the world struggles through this virus I think its safe to say a lot is gonna change. So I will break this down into a couple of parts. So lets start with the non sex things first.
First I believe there will be a push to go cashless. Governments will embrace this for several reasons. The cost of minting money will go down. People will be unable to hide money as easy, so drug lords and welfare cheats will not be able to hide as before. However this also means that the days of getting paided 'under the table" are done. Are you ready to more in taxes??
Next many chains will for go dine in, instead doing doing carry out. This will force people to go home. This will cut the profit of many Resturants, because many will not order dessert or drinks. So I look to see more bundle deals to get you to buy all before you drive away.
Masks will become a way of life. Sorry all you anti makers out there. ( Funny how the anti maskers will say they have breathing issues, but can they yell at the top of their voice for several minutes). In Asia after run ins with SARS and other virus mask wearing has become common place. So it will be here.
Forget about much fun in general. When this started I think most looked at this as being several months in length. We now see. or we should see this will drag on for a couple of years. This will kill Cruise lines, concerts, movie theaters, amusement Parks etc.. The nature of entertainment will change. Less big gatherings, more time in parks, riding, walking and being at home.
Your Home will become a fortress. People will see their home as a castle against what ever the world throws against them. People will stock pile supplies. More will have freezers. There will be more patios and outdoor areas around the house. Gardening may come back, that remains to be seen. For protection more will arm them selves. People will and have been putting money into their homes durning this and it will continue.

Interesting see people returning or deciding when return life. I see some people here are back time. I know others that are starting return life and others that are waiting it out for another month or longer.
So where are you at? Ready return everything you were doing before? When do you feel safe do so. Myself I do go shopping and eating out. I feel ok doing this. However I will not return the gym yet. Have not had worry about time.

Not sure this is a great topic for on here with all the fakes and no shows on here, but here goes.....
I have heard this from younger woman several times in the past few years, there are no good men left! Even the woman from Fox News made a PSA,lol calling men trash. Over the past several years starting with the woman are wonderful (WAW) there has been this movement raising woman up while degrading men. In schools Girls are taught to have it all, boys take a back seat. In many ways behaviors which I found unlikable in men when I was growing up now are common traits of woman today. Around 90% of all divorces in the US are filed by woman.
So what gives here? A radical shift in power. Woman today have choices that seem sometimes to carry no stigma with them. Gone are the days of the scarlet letter. The stigma of divorce or abortion. Woman have careers and can opt more to have no or small families. Now before someone starts screaming at me here, these things are not bad. Its this idea of I can do whatever I want now that creates a toxic environment. Look attractive, nope I am woman. Be interesting to talk to, nope we will only talk about what I want. Mean while many older woman only want younger men. The barrier to having sex outside of your race had fallen away.
So what do I see now? Well I see woman wanting big dicks, with hard bodies. When I first joined this site I use to see words like polite, nice , treat me well, used on profiles. Gone are those days it seems. Those things seem secondary or not even important enough to mention. Woman want equality, but still expect men to pay for everything. There are good men on here and out there. There are good woman also. I believe that the internet has made it harder to find whom you want. 30 years ago you were surrounded by people in the flesh. You got to know people. Today the world is at your finger tips. Do we really meet most of the people we connect with on line?
The solution to this starts with honesty and equality. Real equality not this bogus kind going around today. I think many of the good men are just baffled by today's world. I am baffled. When I get called a pig for holding a Door open for a woman, then called worst for letting it close on her. I have been ripped off by woman, then told I was greedy expecting to get paid back. Please do not get me started on the divorce process in this country! It seems that nice guys are finishing last and are tired of being in last place. So we are just leaving you to your own devices. Ya I know I hear how great woman say dildos are. But they can't kiss you or lick your pussy can they??

Panic in the Streets! Panic in the news, oh wait thats the riots, guess the Covid-19 is not so much news now. I was watching a news crew get busted for bemoaning people in Wisconsin not wearing masks at a resort. One guy they filmed says yeah and your camera man is not wearing one with a second person chiming in with and the rest of your crew not wearing either! So how bad is this? How much hype is there this? A recent test of sewer water showed Covid levels far higher than the testers thought there would be. If the Government really wanted know the true extent of this they would be putting the swabs down and running blood tests at this point see how many have antibodies this. Public officals keep mouthing about science being their guide, well buttercups lets use some science then instead of rolling dice.
So are you ready start again? If not what is holding you back? What do you want see make you feel safe again?

So update 16 March, Ohio has closed Bars, and eat in resturants. you can get carry out but not eat in. Also social events out till the end of April are being called off.

Hi y'all thought I would change up topics some today. So as weird as the site has been lately, people have been complaining about IM. Well being the tech wizard that I am (laughter in the back ground) I thought I would put out a suggestion. To be honest it has been put out here before but its a great idea so why not put it out there again.
You can contact people thru their blogs. Yes even standard members can do this. I have one post set to private on my blog. This allows people to put up contact info without anyone being able to see it. It would work better if more people used it.
