Politics has never held much interest for me. but like millions of Americans yesterday I watched Obama's inauguration. and I have to say I want him.
Now I have never been with a black man before I have been offered lots of times and I don't consider myself raciest but when the issue comes up I just keep thinking that my dad wouldn't have approved, and that's what has kept me away for going black.
But I saw the old presidents come shuffling in and they all looked so old , Bush senior was on a cane and the vice president was in a wheelchair, and all of a sudden their was Obama.
Young strong and new found power and fame and when he smiled I melted .
My Mother was watching with me, but if she wasn't, I think I would have had to break out my vibrating back massager that I hardly ever actually use on my back.
To be frank, I have no idea what his platform is or what he has in store for our country but got I would rock his world if I got the chance, He could dildo me with a cigar any day.lol
I am a realist and know that I will never bed barrack Obama but hell, you guys wank it to Angelina Jolie (OK, I do too) so let me have my fantasy. and if we ever get together and I yell out "Obama" during my orgasm , please don't get mad.
After all, we all desire what we can't have and I don't think I'm alone on this one.

Ok, here I go again, my old stomping grounds, Phoenix , brings back memories. I keep telling myself it,s just a pit stop, but It sure does feel good to see familiar places and friends.
saw my old high school heart throb, Oh I had such fantasies of running off with him and living in a castle someplace and having my every whim pandered to.
seems he is working at a car wash, lives in a trailer, hit me up for money and is more hairy than I remember.
What the hell happened?
my old grade school seemed smaller and more run down than I remember,
I tried to ride my old 10 speed and crashed into a cactus and got road burn.
reliving my youth is turning out to be dangerous lol
But I am having fun , really

It is nice to take a break for awhile, I have money saved and will be pulling a severance, so no hurry , just taking it all in for a bit. and loving it

So next week I will be going to Arizona to stay with my mom while her house is being remodeled, meanwhile my lawyer will try to get the delinquent renters out of my house, then The plan is to head back to Port Orchard and then find work.

piece of cake.

I found a way to "rent" my condo out and make the board happy , a bit of a loop hole by renting it to own. funny thing is that is what I did at first but never thought about doing it myself. (duh) .
So now nothing is holding me here except housing when I go back, since my house still has renters in it. hmmmm

DuPont cuts jobs and reduces its guidance
DuPont (DD, news, msgs) said it would cut 2,500 jobs and cut 4,000 contractors in the coming year.

The chemicals giant now expects a fourth-quarter loss of 20 cents to 30 cents per share. Analysts had predicted a drop of 23 cents per share.

Yeah do ya think...

I'm back home
I had a great time with my mom in Arizona, we did some real down to earth talking. She wants me to settle down , get married and make her grand . lol , lol , lol, lol ..... not
Now I may be weird but I have no intention of having . I like but the thought of giving birth and raising them ,,, hmmm hmmm no!
after thanks giving I went back to Washington to check on my house and find out why the renters are not paying rent, no real answer on that, maybe I have to get a lawyer, but the the house looked good, they don't seem to be trashing it anyway.
I stayed with my x- neighbors, and man do I miss them, and I think they miss me, both of them know how to please, they left a invitation open , whoo hooo
I do really want to go back, with my job gone nothing is holding me back right now except the housing issue.
I'm going to do some half hearted job hunting tomorrow, I would like to get something I can walk away from easily if I get the chance to head west again, like a greeter at walmart or something lol. I think my high powered executive days are over for the time being.

I'm decided to not dwell on the whole job thingy. I'll be ok ,

so with all the new found time on my hands, I met a few of my neighbors and we went for a walk on the river, It truly is a beautiful setting.
A great park, and all this time I hardly noticed it, like when I lived by Seattle and never went on the space needle.
so I'm heading to the airport to ride as a passenger (lol) and spend thanks giving with my mom.
My brother is back in Iraq s I guess it's me and her. neither one of us is a very good cook so thanksgiving dinner at a restaurant is on the agenda.

That's it , then, I did the empty the desk and carry the box full of my shit out the front door.
A lot of promises made , few came through.

I'm not bitter, just shell shocked I guess,
I worked hard to please but it was my lack of senority that killed my job. and the fact of blew a coworker,. not that anyone else knew, but that it made it a bit awkward,.

So hmm I put in for rehire with the evil empire, my old employer. now that I may work for them again they will be the that name I shall not speak,(here anyway).

I'm Ok , I have plenty of money saved, and can coast for quite awhile without power.

I am seriously considering moving back to port orchard, the tenants in my washington house have missed the last two months in rent. I'm told that they lost their job also. I feel for them but maybe It will open opportunity for me to move back in soon without being a bitch and breaking a lease.

I still have this condo to worry about, the board won't allow mw to rent, so if anyone wants a river front condo downtown ,,,, wink wink,

If you buy for asking price , I'll blow ya ,

jkng... lol

or am I .... hmmmmm

Seems that cutbacks are hitting the company hard. to save money not many flights have been booked.
The C.E.O. stated in a news letter that the "entire corporate transportation division, will be out sourced and dissolved".
You will never guess who got the contract, " netjets" !!
If only I stayed where I was, because I got the pink slip last week,
I knew something was up when the corp. started selling off the fleet one by one.
Not sure what to do now. maybe sleep for a week , for the first time in my life I will be unemployed. weird.

It is so hot, lol
just stating the obvious,
and humid to boot , so where do people go around here to cool off.?
In Seattle we had Alki beach and in port orchard it was always cooler by the sound, but here the little river/ creek behind my place seems just as warm and kinda icky , I haven't seen anyone swimming or anything so my guess is they go somewhere else.

maybe a day trip to the ocean or somthing would be nice.

So , seems I owe almost 4,000.00 in property taxes this year here. while my house in Washington is only 900.00. ouch..
some things are cheaper nut not much. it's alot cheaper to drive in Washington state and seem to live also.
also I still haven't needed a car , everything is close and public transportation is much better.
of course my condo is worth a little more and the brandy wine river is out my back door, as I am surrounded by parks and close to work.
this guy I met said that I am superfine on superfine , lol
But jeeezus h I about fell over when my accountant gave me the bill.

oh well the cost of being alive I guess.

I know I haven't posted in awhile. "shame shame"
Just my new job has put a great deal of demands on me.
I come home exhausted.
I still am considering heading back to Washington state. I am settling in here but still don't feel like it's "home" yet, I does sound silly but true.
when I moved to Port Orchard it felt right. and got into my blood. I can feel a deep "tug" to the west.
Wilmington is nice and after a bit of getting used to the "gruff" personalities I am fitting in.
I'll give it a bit more time and see how I feel in the fall.

I got my first paycheck with the new company, omg I don't think I have ever had a check this big in my whole life.
I'm starting to settle in, I just had to get used to the "just the facts" mentality of the east coast I guess.
I had to tell myself that they are not being rude, It's just the way they talk.
I talked to my friends from Seattle on the phone, It was nice to hear familiar. They Thought it was funny I live on superfine rd, they said it was fitting. I had never thought of it that way lol.
I am still home sick and still not sure about living here or not. I'll give it a few months to see if I don't go running back to seattle or not.
I would be hard to leave this paycheck behind , lol,
